We think tattoos can be great art. They are a way to express an emotion, make a statement, honor a person or recognize a life-event. They can be bold, subtle or sometimes even both. We love our tattoos and recognize that people get tattoos for many reasons; it’s a very personal decision.
Things, however, can change. What was a passion at one moment in life may not be 5, 10 or 15 years down the road. Miscommunications between artist and client can result in artwork that wasn’t what was expected. Sometimes more space is needed for new or more interesting art. Whatever your reason, we can help.
Our certified laser techs will sit down with you and give you the time and attention you need to get your removal done correctly. We use the latest laser technology to safely remove your ink and get you ready for the future. Your happiness and satisfaction is our number one priority.
Rob Harris – Founder and Laser Guru, Certified Laser Technician & Laser Safety Officer
Rob is the tattoo removal guy who loves tattoos. Sitting in the Panera in Copley Square, Rob came up with the idea for Disappearing inc. “What if,” he thought, “we were the first business in Boston to specialize exclusively in tattoo removal and provide a completely unique customer experience?” And voila, Disappearing inc. was born (and by “voila” he means after a significant amount of tears, sweat and effort). Rob grew up in Northern New Jersey and went to college at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, he moved to Boston and became a certified EMT. After 10 years in the for-profit world (P&G, Reebok, a bunch of .com’s) and 10 years in the non-profit world (Boston Children’s Hospital, Tufts Medical Center Floating Hospital for Children, among others), he decided he was tired of working for others and started Disappearing inc. He is a Certified Laser Technician and Laser Safety Officer from the National Laser Institute in Arizona. Rob lives in Brookline with his amazing wife (see below) and his two wonderful kids. An adrenaline addict, when he is not removing tattoos, he is being tattooed (over 35 hours of tattooing on his body and counting), skiing, snowboarding, bungee jumping or rock climbing. When not getting his adrenaline fix, he enjoys reading fantasy/sci fi (he’s really a geek at heart), following politics, cooking and writing poetry.
Eve Harris – Co-Owner & Queen Bee, Certified Laser Technician & Laser Safety Officer
Eve is the tattoo removal gal who loves the art of tattoos. When she saw how much fun her husband Rob (see above) was having with laser tattoo removal, she went to get certified, spent months as an apprentice and started Disappearing inc.’s Framingham studio. Currently, Eve is managing both the Framingham and Braintree locations. Prior to Disappearing inc., Eve was a marketing executive for some of the largest worldwide brands and ran her own marketing consulting firm helping many non-profits do amazing work for those in our community. Rob always says, “Eve is going to save the world, one person at a time.” Eve grew up in New York but has long been a Massachusetts gal. She’s a graduate of Mount Holyoke College (yay for western Mass!) and is proud to have birthed two Bostonians. When not saving the world, Eve is hanging with her kids, traveling the world, kayaking on the Charles, skiing, snowboarding or scouring vintage markets!
Lauren Pomponio – Studio Manager, Certified Laser Technician & Laser Safety Officer
Lauren Pomponio joined the Disappearing inc. family in 2016. Having been certified as a laser technician by National Laser Institute, she completed her advanced training at Disappearing inc. Lauren is a native of western Mass and when she’s not taking off tattoos she can be found getting a new one.
Norela Haviari – Studio Organizer, Certified Laser Technician & Laser Safety Officer
Norela is our “can’t believe she’s always that happy” studio organizer and laser technician. She completed her apprenticeship at Disappearing inc. We first met Norela when we took off one of her tattoos 4 years ago (ask her about it). Norela loves the outdoors, spinning fire, making art, making some yummy concoction in the kitchen and being a dog mom.
Itasha Daniels – Studio Organzier/Boston
Itasha is our wonderful studio organizer and captain who keeps the Boston ship running smoothly. When she’s not in the studio, she’s enjoying the company of her two adorable daughters!
Lily Harris – Studio Organizer/Framingham & Braintree
Lily just wants to makes people happy and can be found at either our Framingham or Braintree studios. She speaks Spanish if you do and she loves to talk about traveling the world.
